Operating duty: Design input
Provide each stream’s source, flow variation, representative influent analysis (BOD/COD/SS in mg/L, turbidity in NTU, pH, and metals if process water is in scope) and the effluent or reuse table that the site must meet. State hydraulic capacity in m3/day at average and peak, seasonal occupancy, whether equalization already exists, and how sludge will leave the pad. Name upstream interfaces such as camp sewers or process bleed lines and downstream interfaces such as a discharge point, evaporation pond or reuse header. A production sample for this category is a preserved laboratory sample taken at the named sampling point, not a photograph of a tank. Public mining-wastewater notes that discuss domestic camp treatment must not be extended to acidic drainage without separate engineering from the contracted supplier.
